Barcelona are close to selling Vitor Roque to Palmeiras as Real Betis loanee is set to end his nightmare in Europe.

After failing to establish himself at the Catalan club, the striker moved to Real Betis on loan ahead of the 2024/25 campaign. However, things have not improved for the Brazilian at his new club as he now plans to move back to his homeland.

Per , Brazilian giants Palmeiras have reportedly shown interest in signing the 19-year-old forward and want to seal a move before the transfer window in the country closes next Friday. The club are in advanced talks with the Catalan side as they are willing to offer a €25 million (£20m/$26m) in transfer fee.
It now remains to be seen if Real Betis will be willing to let Barcelona cut short the loan deal. The club could also demand compensation if Vitor Roque leaves the team before his loan spell ends.
Hansi Flick's side will be next seen in action on Tuesday as they host Atletico Madrid in the first leg of their Copa del Rey semi-final clash.
